Welcome to Croydon: London Bus Simulator — one of Roblox's most detailed transport simulations. Developed by Centro Interactive, this game recreates South London at 1:1 scale with hundreds of buses, trams, real route numbers, and a thriving custom company community. If you are brand new after the Redefined update, this guide walks you through your first session from main menu to completed route.
Starting Your First Session
Launch the game on Roblox and wait for the main menu to load. You will see options for operator garages, custom companies, shifts, and settings. As a new player, select a free operator like Croycoach or Arriva from our free buses guide. Choose the cheapest available bus if you have zero points, or the default starter vehicle.
Selecting and Driving a Route
After spawning at your operator depot, open the route menu and pick a short service — avoid Route 289 (34 stops) until you understand ticket mechanics. The dashboard on your right shows the current stop, next stop, and departure countdown. Approach each stop, indicate, stop at the kerb, open doors with K, and serve waiting passengers.
Issuing Tickets
Each passenger requests a ticket type shown in a speech bubble: Single, Return, Day Pass, 7 Day Pass, or Months Pass. Click the matching button on your dashboard or use the physical ticket machine in newer buses. Wrong tickets reduce your earnings. Full details on our dashboard guide.
Completing the Route
Serve every stop until you reach the final terminus. On-time departures (when the timer shows Due) earn 5 bonus points per stop. Points accumulate in your account for purchasing new buses. Learn all earning methods on our points guide.
