Croydon London Bus Simulator Custom Routes Guide

Build custom bus routes from scratch — select terminuses, map every stop, time departures, and publish services for your company fleet.

Custom routes define your company's identity in Croydon London Bus Simulator. Unlike fixed operator services on the main network, company routes let you design unique stop patterns, assign route numbers, set operating hours, and build timetables that other players drive for company credit income. Route creation is now completely free — a major change from the former 25 Robux per route fee removed in August 2025.

Route Creation Workflow

  1. Open your company page and click View Group Routes
  2. Press Create a Route to open the full game map
  3. Select outbound start terminus and stand
  4. Select inbound start terminus (return origin)
  5. Click every intermediate stop in order for the outbound journey
  6. Click the yellow-highlighted termination stop to finish outbound
  7. Repeat stop selection for the inbound return journey
  8. Enter route number and available operating hours
  9. Preview and confirm with Create Route

Stop Selection Tips

The map shows all terminuses across Croydon districts. Clicking a terminus hides other stops to reveal individual stands — critical at complex hubs like West Croydon. You must end outbound at the same terminus area but may choose a different stand than your start point. Plan loops that minimize dead running for efficient company credit earnings.

Manual Timetabling

Croydon does not auto-generate running times. Click the gear icon beside each stop during creation to set departure minutes. Underestimating times causes impossible schedules; overestimating reduces on-time bonus potential for drivers. Test-drive new routes personally before publishing — use dashboard timers to calibrate realistic intervals.

Operating Hours

Restrict routes to morning, day, evening, or night periods like real TfL scheduling. Night-only custom routes complement official N68 and N250 services. Rush-hour-focused routes attract more drivers during GMT peak windows detailed on our rush hour page.

Route Slots

Your first route slot is free. Additional slots may cost Robux — verify current pricing in-game. Pro subscribers running company events on private servers can coordinate multiple custom routes simultaneously with shift control from Croydon Pro.
